Choose the Digital Signature Certificate (DSC) that matches the portal and the person or organisation signing. Not sure? Use the guide below or ask us before paying.
Which DSC fits your work?
| What you need to do | Usually needed |
|---|---|
| File ITR, sign GST returns, MCA forms or EPFO documents as an individual | Class 3 Individual – Signing |
| Bid on eTenders that encrypt bids (for example eProcurement Punjab) | Signing & Encryption (individual or organisation, as the tender requires) |
| Sign in the name of a company, LLP, firm, trust or society | Organisation DSC |
| DGFT portal work for an importer/exporter | DGFT DSC |
| Sign invoices, certificates or statements automatically in bulk | Document Signer Certificate |
Portals and tender documents sometimes ask for a specific certificate type. Always check the requirement in the portal's help pages or the tender document before ordering. One certificate does not suit every use.

How applying works
- Choose the certificate type, validity and whether you need a USB token.
- Apply through the Certifying Authority's (CA's) application process: Aadhaar OTP eKYC, PAN-based, or document-based verification, as the CA offers.
- Verify with a short video and mobile/email confirmation.
- Download the certificate to a FIPS-certified USB token once the CA approves it. Issuance time depends on the CA's verification.
- Register the DSC on the portals you use (Income Tax, GST, MCA, eProcurement). We can guide you.
Your safety: we never ask for passwords, OTPs or bank details. Don't post PAN, Aadhaar or documents in comments or chat. Identity verification is done only through the Certifying Authority's own application process.
